BEIJING (AP) Novak Djokovic has claimed Serbia's second medal at the Beijing Olympics by winning a bronze in singles.
Djokovic beat James Blake of the United States 6-3, 7-6 (4) Saturday.
When he closed out the tiebreaker, a jubilant Djokovic ripped off his shirt and threw it to the cheering crowd, along with two rackets, and he started to throw his bag before stopping. He took a Serbian flag from a fan and waved it as he jogged around the court.
Djokovic, seeded third, bounced back from a three-set loss to Rafael Nadal in the semifinals Friday.
Earlier Saturday, swimmer Milorad Cavic won the silver medal in the men's 100-meter butterfly after being beaten by .01 of a second by America's Michael Phelps.
