Order of play for the 2009 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Final match between the United States and Italy was determined today and is as follows:

Saturday, November 7 & Sunday, November 8, 2009, Circolo del Tennis "Rocco Polimeni" - Reggio Calabria, Italy

Saturday, 11:00 a.m.    Singles A:         Alexa Glatch (USA) vs. Flavia Pennetta (ITA)

                                  Singles B:         Melanie Oudin (USA) vs. Francesca Schiavone (ITA)

Sunday, 11:00 a.m.     

                                  Singles C:         Melanie Oudin (USA) vs. Flavia Pennetta (ITA)

                                  Singles D:         Alexa Glatch (USA) vs. Francesca Schiavone (ITA)

                                  Doubles:           Liezel Huber/Vania King (USA) vs. Serra Errani/Roberta Vinci (ITA)

The best-of-five match series begins with two singles matches on Saturday and is followed by two reverse singles matches and the doubles match on Sunday.

This is the tenth Fed Cup meeting between the two nations, with the USA currently holding a 9-0 lead. The USA won the last encounter 5-0 in the 2003 quarterfinal in Washington, D.C.

Fed Cup by BNP Paribas is the world's largest annual international women's team competition with 86 countries competing this year.  The United States leads all nations with 17 Fed Cup titles -- the last coming in 2000 -- and was one of eight nations that competed for the 2009 Fed Cup title as part of the Fed Cup World Group.
